The Savannah Legacy Academy has been selected as one of top 33 Semifinalists for the prestigious Yass Prize

The Yass Prize is a national competition with a mission “to identify and support best-in-class education providers who can tackle the big education challenges of the day and deliver an education for students that is Sustainable, Transformational, Outstanding and Permissionless.”

Savannah Legacy Academy was chosen from nearly 2,000 applications, representing 27 million students from every sector in education and every grade through Pre-K – 12th, across all 50 states! The school is competing against charter schools, other private schools, education technology companies, national school networks and educator recruitment programs.

Savannah Legacy Academy is now 1 of  4 “faith-based” schools chosen in the country and the only school in Georgia that has been selected to be a Semifinalist. Just by being selected as a Semifinalist, Savannah Legacy Academy is guaranteed a prize of $200,000.

The Yass Prize is offering an additional $100,000 to the top 33 education institutions via their Parent’s Choice Award! From October 10 through November 25, parents, supporters and friends of Savannah Legacy Academy can vote every single day for up to two different semifinalists, and the winner of the Parents Choice Award will be announced at the December 13 gala live from New York Cit
